The Pembina River has many twists and turns on its journey north to the Athabasca. This curve of the river is a peaceful place to watch the resident beavers or just enjoy the sounds of nature. If you continue a short way along the road you reach Peanut Lake, which has a small campground and is stocked with rainbow trout.
