Geocache Description:

Eight Hundred SixtyEighth in the Famous People (FP) Series - Granville Stinebaugh
Coordinates take you to the Nevada Well House where you will solve for the final.
In 1861 Granville Stinebaugh moved to Texas from Missouri and purchased 160 acres of land near McMinn Chapel. Shortly thereafter the town of Nevada was established on his farm and named by Stinebaugh in honor of Nevada Territory, which he had passed through on his way to search for gold in California. The town received a post office on August 3, 1880. Eight years later the tracks of the St. Louis Southwestern Railway reached the community.

This Well House was once a Community icon. The Well House was a place where Nevada friends and family would visit and greet each other. The Gazebo type Well House was home to a community well which was used for watering houses in the day before the horseless carriage.

On the engraved bricks leading up to the Well House, you will find the answers to the following questions that will build out the coordinates to the final.
