This is my First Geocache, and this is one of the walks I do on a weekly basis with my parents, go for a coffee at the shopping complex then head back home. I have grown so used to this line it would be nice to meet some cachers one day and share it with others.
This is one of two of my geocaches located on the Trans Pennine trial which was once a railway line which was built to accommodate the coal trains in and out of Bentley pit, (or so I have been told) standing at the cache and facing the north trial you get a real sense of what it may have been like as a line. I don't know much about the history of this line but it is a place which many people in Doncaster will not even know about. First to find goes to the SYC Group.
