Ričardas Berankis (born June 21, 1990) is a Lithuanian professional tennis player and a prominent member of the Lithuania Davis Cup team. He is the first and only Lithuanian to enter the ATP top 100 (on November 29, 2010) making him the highest ranked Lithuanian tennis player of all time. Berankis has reached one final on the ATP World tour, at the Los Angeles Open in 2012.

Season highlighted by ATP World Tour QFs as a lucky loser in Munich in early May (l. to Struff) and as a qualifier in Moscow in October, where he posted his 1st career Top 10 win over No. 9 Raonic in 2R (l. to Bautista Agut)...Lone Grand Slam appearance came at Australian Open (l. to Dolgopolov in 1R). Fell in last round of qualifying at other 3 majors...At Challenger level, compiled a 26-10 record, with 2 titles in Astana II, Kazakhstan in July (d. Ilhan) and Andria, Italy in November (d. Basilashvili)...Put together tour-level records of 9-4 on hard, 2-2 on clay and 0-1 on grass. His 11 wins were 2nd most in career (13 in 2013)...
2013 -- The top Lithuanian’s best results were 3 QF showings in Delray Beach (l. to Roger-Vasselin) as a qualifier, Houston (d. No. 14 Haas in 2R, l. to eventual champ Isner) and in Winston-Salem (l. to Querrey). Won a personal-high 13 tour level matches…In Grand Slam play (2-4 record), as a qualifier, beat F. Mayer in Australian Open 2R before losing to No. 3 Murray in 3R. Afterwards improved from No. 110 to No. 85. Fell in 1R at Roland Garros (l. to Benneteau), Wimbledon (l. to Mathieu) and US Open (l. to No. 1 Djokovic)…Reached a career-high No. 67 on May 6…Closed season with runner-up at Helsinki Challenger (l. to Nieminen)…Compiled records of 10-9 on hard, 3-4 on clay and 0-3 on grass…
2012 -- The top Lithuanian became 1st player from his country to reach an ATP World Tour final with runner-up effort in Los Angeles as a qualifier ranked No. 141. Won 3 qualifying and 4 main draw matches in straight sets before falling to Querrey in title match...Made QF in St. Petersburg (l. to eventual champion Klizan) and Stockholm (l. to Baghdatis)...Posted personal-best 10 match wins on ATP World Tour...At Challenger level, compiled 10-9 record with runner-up in Winnetka (l. to Smith) and QF in Dallas and Nottingham...Did not play in a Grand Slam main draw, losing in qualifying at Australian Open (2R), Wimbledon (1R) and US Open (3R)...Missed nearly 3 months from mid-February due to sports

2010 -- The youngest player (20) in year-end Top 100 is highest-ranked player from Lithuania in history of South African Airways ATP Rankings (since 1973)…Breakthrough season included a 24-12 Challenger match record with two titles, his maiden ATP World Tour QF and two Grand Slam main draw wins…In first month of season, qualified at Sao Paulo Challenger and reached QF followed by SF at Salinas Challenger…In February, he qualified in San Jose and became first Lithuanian native to reach an ATP QF with wins over Ginepri and Phau before losing to No. 11 Verdasco…In March, played in Davis Cup tie vs. Great Britain and led his country to a win with a pair of singles victories…In June, won Nottingham Challenger on grass (d.
