Geocache Description:

Sight: One of the senses

A new series of caches highlighting the Five Senses

Aristotle is remembered for the classification of the five sense organs: sight, sound touch, taste and hearing.  Each of the five senses consist of organs with specialized cellular structures that have specialized receptors for specific senses.

Smell is the other "chemical" sense. Unlike taste, there are hundreds of olfactory receptors, each binding to a particular molecular feature. Odor molecules possess a variety of features and, thus, excite specific receptors more or less strongly. This combination of excitatory signals from different receptors makes up what we perceive as the molecule's smell.

The first five sense caches are fairly easy to find.  2/2 D/T.  Watch for muggles and don’t venture too far from GZ.   The last sense is still unproven, so a much harder D/T is bound to be expected.  Is it there?

Congrats to CluelessTu! for the FTF!
