Geocache Description:

This is a beautiful viewpoint along the East Harrison Forest Service Road with an ample pullout for parking. Enjoy the moment, look in all directions and take it all in.

"Klondike Fever" is a Canadian made movie released in 1980 that chronicles Jack London's epic journey from San Francisco to the Klondike gold fields in 1898. The movie features Jeff East, Lorne Green, Gordon Pinsent, Angie Dickinson & Rod Steiger.

The movie was filmed entirely on location in British Columbia. Barkerville and many sites along Harrison Lake were chosen to represent Alaska and the Yukon. This paticular viewpoint was used in the filming to represent Lake Lindeman Alaska. In actual fact Lake Lindeman is located in Northern British Columbia along the old Chilkoot Trail.  Please rehide carefully and as you found it. Congrats to Johnny Cache'rs and Jungle C on FTF.
