After years with no pedestrian access to Jack Island, the new bridge is up and access has been granted! ($2 per vehicle if you don't have a Florida State Park Pass - if you don't have one, it's a worthwhile investment!)
This park provides over 5 miles of walking paths, access to King's Island, a 30 foot tower overlooking the Indian River, and numerous look out points to the river between mangroves.
Special thanks to Park Service Manager Frank from Fort Pierce Inlet State Park for authorizing this cache and spending the morning with us, ensuring everything is satisfactory for state standards :)
