CONGRATULATIONS!!! to MONK-E ARMS for finding his 1,000th cache. Finding the 1st cache gets you hooked. It doesn't take long to get to 10 (2-digits). Then it's off toward 100 (3-digits). That takes a little longer, but it is still a lot of fun. After that comes a much longer stretch. This one takes more time, gas, money, and tired/sore muscles. You have gotten to that 4 digit number - 1,000 !!! WOW !!! In fact, since I am so slow at getting this back in circulation, you have gotten to 1,154. You can enjoy and celebrate this great accomplishment, but remember, you have about 8,846 caches to go to get to the 5 digit number. GOOD LUCK !!!
This cache is located in a location that Pastors get to visit often during their ministry. To search for this cache, you will need to ENTER THE CEMETERY. Do NOT park along either of the highways that go by on 2 sides, even if it seems closer to the cache. There are plenty of paved roads to drive on in the cemetery. Park your vehicle so others will be able to pass and walk to the cache site.
This beautiful cemetery is about a mile from the Mississippi River. It is located on the rolling hills on the bluff. Many loved ones are buried here and much history is to be found on the tombstones. It's a quiet, peaceful place to take a stroll. Please show the respect expected in cemeteries. The hours to search for this cache would be from DAWN to DUSK. If someone is visiting a grave or a service is in progress close to the cache location, please come back later or walk around until they leave.
