The Brownlow Medal was formally Charles Brownlow Trophy.
It is a individual award given to a player who is judged to be the fairest and best player in the Australian Football League
during the regular season.
This is decided by votes by the officiating umpires after each game.
The Medal has been awarded every year since 1924 with the exception of an intermission from 1942 to 1945 due to World War 2.
Players are ineligible to win the Medal if they have been suspended for on field offences.
The 1960 Brownlow Medal was won by John Schultz from the Footscray [bulldogs] Football Team.
He had 20 votes.
This cache maybe difficult to do if any sporting events are being held.
