Dawlish Railway - The New Wall

In February 2014 the great storm that swept across the Southwest hit Dawlish hard. The town flooded and the Railway and sea wall collapsed leaving the train tracks bouncing around in the wind in mid air!!

The Orange Army were called in and worked day and night for the best part of 12 months to rebuild the train line and the sea wall which you are now standing on. Lets hope this one with stands the battering it gets frequently from the sea.



Beware of the tides, the waves and the wind, apart from that enjoy the hunt!!

AT NO POINT DURING THE SEARCH FOR THIS CACHE SHOULD YOU CROSS THE WALL ONTO THE RAILWAY LINES. THE CACHE IS BELOW SEA WALL LEVEL!!!!
