A part of Golborne's history, this monument marks the site of the coal mine that closed in 1989 and is a tribute to those that lost their lives here.
This geocache has been hidden by Scouts from 1st Golborne Scout Group who have now achieved their Geocaching badge.
This geocache is a nano and is hidden in plain sight although you will have to hunt for it. The terrain is flat and the paths are well laid - suitable for everyone. However, it is very close to a main road so discretion will be required when recoveringand replacing the cache.
