This cache is located on the ridge line that separates Pomona and
Phillips Ranch. Geological terrain with many boulders and rocks
along with a 400ft elevation climb up to 1350ft make this a
difficult hike while round trip distance is under 2 miles.
Trail head is located at N34° 2.339 W117° 46.638 on Village Loop Rd
in Phillips Ranch. Head north until you see the ridge trail then
proceed West. Make sure the trail you take follows the ridge
line!!! This area is full of interesting rock formations. Panoramic
scenery of Phillips Ranch and Pomona Valley can be viewed from the
top. Bring a camera! After you find the cache you can continue west
to the last hilltop where you get a view of Walnut Valley.
Cache is a flat plastic container. Please return cache to
camouflaged position so it is not found by non-geocachers. Please
no food, gum or candy or else the racoons will get it.
