Leanna was a beautiful and intelligent young lady who left us much too soon!
Hours are Dawn to Dusk. I would suggest this one be tried on weekends as there are very few muggles there at that time. Even though it looks like it would be closer to bushwack to this DON”T DO IT! You will be trespassing.
This little used trail has been here for a while. This cache is hidden along one of the forgotten jewels in Pike County. There is an old bridge and a boardwalk along this trail. There is another cache near the boardwalk and there is one hiding in brush near the parking cords that you may want to grab also while exploring in these woods.
The trail is an improved type of trail that goes up and down and around and is not too strenuous. However as with all improved non paved trails in woods - it is in the woods and some care must be exercised by the cacher. To me it is great trail for a mountain bike. ( Thanks to CTDFLOYD for the description )
This is cache is near the east end of the Pirate Trail. It container is a cammo’ed lock and lock hidden behind a wall.
There is some tree cover around GZ but I got good readings every time. Your results may vary. Please re-hide as well or better than you found it.
The trail is Open to the Public – says so right on the sign at the trail’s head. Even though it looks like it would be closer to bushwack to this DON”T DO IT! You will be trespassing.
Be sure to look for the other caches in the area. You will be passing right past Leanna Park (GC2PGQW ). You will also be close to A Pirate’s Tooth For Me GC41K16
There is parking available at one of the trail heads. Parking is at 33 05.401 / 84 20.647.
