The cache you are looking for is a camo medium size container able to hold Travel Bugs and other trinkets. This is my first hide of substantial size so I have left a few items for trading and of course- a logbook and pen inside.
Park open from 6am-10pm
Cache is tied off but can be pulled away from it's hiding place. Please keep this one safe by keeping the cord attached and try to cover when replacing, thanks!
From the cache location to the South is Croix Park. This park came to be after the Croix family gave the land to the city for public use. It has been very useful to our youth soccer players for decades. I'm not sure how many acres of land this park sits on, but the family maintains a portion at the front, near the roadway, which they have turned into a beautiful garden area. If you look North across from Mustang Bayou, there is a residential development in the works known as Pomona. Pomona was the original name given to the settlement of Manvel. After discovering a Pomona, Texas had already been established, the name was changed to Manvel, after Allen Manvel (the then president of the Santa Fe Railroad). This residential development you see across from the bayou is one of many more to come to the area.
