This series of caches has been placed to celebrate each Scout Jamboree held in Australia. It has been hidden to coincide with the 24th Australian Jamboree being held at Cateract Scout Park during January of 2016. The Australian Scout Jamboree is a massive camp for Scouts which is held every three years by Scouts Australia and are for members of the Scout Section aged 11 to 15 years of age. Other sections such as Venturers, Rovers, and Leaders also go along to run/lead activities. The 2016 Australian Jamboree (or AJ2016) is the 24th Australian Jamboree, where over 12,000 Scouts will converge to Cateract Scout Park, to camp for 2 glorious weeks of fun, fantastic adventure and friendship. There will be onsite activities such as abseiling, BMX riding, a high ropes course, climbing wall, challenge valley, etc. Offsite activities include tours of Sydney, visting a theme park, and flying.
The 10th Australian Scout Jamboree was held at Woodhouse Activity Center, Piccadilly, South Australia. It boasts 54 hectares of undulating gum tree studded countryside in the stunning Piccadilly Vally and is just 25 minutes from the Adelaide GPO. Activities included:

This geocache is hidden approximately 5 meters into very sparse bush, and is adjacent to Cateract Road. Access to this cache is limited. Access is between the hours of 10am and 5pm daily. Extended hours, 10am to 7pm, on weekends and public holidays and during daylight saving time. No entry is permitted 15 minutes prior to closing time and there is no cost of entry. Feel free to drop/exchange your old scouting badges.
