A cache located in Arrow Valley Country Park with kind permission of Redditch Borough Council.
Redditch has 900 acres of public open space in Arrow Valley Country Park, which incorporates a 30-acre lake fed by the River Arrow. There are interactive events and family activities at the Countryside Centre, as well as a lakeside café and gift shop. There are four way-marked trails for walking and cycling around the lake and through the Country Park. There is a skate park in the south of the park with walks along the river Arrow through the Country Park to the Forge Mill Museum in the north. There is also a great playground to entertain children. I would advise parking at Battens Drive car park although it can get busy during good weather at weekends and holidays. The route around the lake is suitable for wheelchairs but the cache location is off the main paths and may require wellies if it's been raining. This is a high muggle area - please be careful and replace cache as found, with a little camo covering.
