Geocache Description:

No cache at given coordinates. To find the cache, you must find the Throne of Games.

«Winter is coming» is a much-used line by characters in the Game of Thrones TV series. No wonder: If you think Norway winter is bad, imagine winters that last for many years.

Appearently, severeal years or even decades pass betwen each time winter comes to Westeros, the continent on which most Game of Thrones action takes place. But when it does, it also lingers for an extremely long time, causing starvation and drowning people, creatures and crops in snow layers higher than the treetops. If the harsh winters of the Westeros world were to hit ours, geocachers would surely have to rethink the way we do snow-proof geocaches.

The cache is a camo capsule hidden near a nice viewpoint overlooking a historic valley where all kinds of winter activities are available. All we need is snow. While we are waiting for winter to come, you can access the site using a blue-marked trail.

Dette var en av cachene til julaften 2015, Xmas#24 i Osloregionens adventskalender.
