Eyewitness accounts tell of a man who was a healer. He would go from town to town healing people of all kinds of physical challenges. One day, word got to him that his close friend was dying. Unexpectedly, he delayed in making a visit. By the time he did arrive, the man’s sisters declared that their brother had been dead for 4 days. The healer had the dead man's tomb opened and he called the man by name, “Lazarus, come out!” Amazingly, Lazarus walked out into the light all wrapped up in burial cloths.
Interestingly, the history of the cross is that it was an instrument of torture yet that symbol is now used in honor to mark the graves of loved ones.
