Geocache Description:

You're looking at an Opera House. Or are you?

Please don't come directly from the road - access is only permitted via footpaths passing Ankle Corner, Feed the Birds or Ankle Corner.

Night Cachers:- The reflectors you can see here are surveyors markers - not a secret trail!

The woodland you are facing is the future home of an opera company, if all goes according to plan.

A 600 seat "Theatre in the Woods" is to be built here in time for the 2017 summer season. It will be a red brick structure and designed to fit the style of the other buildings on the estate.

Planning permission has yet to be approved and it is understood that this is part of the general restoration of the estate and her buildings. As this is a green belt location, the plan is to offset the construction with the removal of two large metal industrial buildings from the old farmyard.

If you can, please post a photograph of your visit to document the progress (or lack thereof) of this ambitious project.
