GZ is on Museum Grounds and available during daylight hours!!
Sign out the front indicating the local historical walks around town
Geocachers have permission to wander the grounds to find cache and also look around at an old original school
Even tho the last school kids have grown up and mostily moved away
The old school is maintained by Mallacoota p-12 college and also by Marshmead plc so please look after the area, buildings and equipment
around the back theres the last metal playground left in Victoria....Didnt we love those days!!!
Museum open times are on Thursday between 2PM till 4PM by gold coin donation which goes towards upkeep
Genoa has a very rich farming history and has been around since the early settlement of Victoria's sea board and roadway development
At one stage the only way through to nsw was via the Princes highway through Genoa's single lane bridge (see old Genoa Bridge and other plaques around town)
alternatively you can also view some of the local history at the local hotel when museum not open but as far as cache is concerned please feel free to enter ground and look around
