Geocache Description:


This park is located next to the beautiful Lake Delton! One of the busiest parks during the summer it is lodged right between Lake Delton and the Wisconsin River! The Kaminski name is a big time name here in the area. You can find it all over the place.

On April 14th, 2003, the Lake Delton Village Board named this park “Kaminski Park” in honor of Frank J. Kaminski in recognition of his tireless efforts in promoting this development. This honor was bestowed upon Frank because of his commitment to the community and generous contribution of his time and efforts as a member of the Delton Fire Department, the Delton Ambulance Service; serving as well as one of the four original EMT’s. Frank served as Village Trustee for eight years, during the period of 1975 to 1986, returning to serve as Village President for 14 years from 1995-2009.
