The Last Bustard had a special significance, as it was placed to commemorate the release of the previously extinct Bustard, and the release locations were in Wiltshire, which was where I was living at the time. The cache was placed near to a beautiful carving, and the location is now marked by Flagging Around Rauceby 6.
This cache is placed near to where we had to abandon Bootsie's buggy, persuade her that we would be coming back for it, and encourage her to walk the rest of the way on foot!
A very memorable cache and a fantastic introduction to the addiction that has gripped us both for the last decade.
Caching certainly takes you to interesting, unusual and memorable places, it connects you with interesting, unusual and memorable people, and is probably the best hobby in the world.
