Geocache Description:

My 12 year old son wanted to make a geocache for his mom, my wife, as a Christmas gift 2015. We, as a family, enjoy the show, "The Big Bang Theory".  We wanted to make a geocache that would reflect our enjoyment of that show.

We are fans of the TV show "The Big Bang Theory."  My 12 year old son and I designed this geocache as a surprise for my wife/his mom for Christmas 2015, (she got us hooked on geocaching!)  The title of the geocache is, "Sheldon's Bongos".  Sheldon is a character on the TV show and in one episode he played bongos very late at night.  We wanted the geocache placed at the band shell area in the state park near our house.  This area ties together the music of bongos and the music of the band shell/amphitheater peninsula.   Our geocache has Sheldon's practical joke catch phrase on it! A searcher with a sharp eye will see the peculiarity and investigate!  The sticker clearly states that there is NO DANGER, and all of the information on the sticker is actually trivia about the show!  It will be "hidden in plain sight!"

When you find it there is a sign that says, "This is where the music took you, Kitten."  this is a reference to a famous line from the TV show "Wherever the music takes me, Kitten."  The actual geocache is a container which mimics the trick cans of peanut brittle with the spring surprise inside! The Sheldon character loves that type of practical joke!  The log book is a mini tablet with a bird on the front which represents Sheldon's brief pet, "Lovey-Dovey".
