Good day, geocachers! I have placed this cache in Mill Stream Run Park as an homage to a rather odd dream I had the other night. This hide is relatively typical in its placement, but its placement is NOT reflected by the listed coordinates -- they only reflect the general vicinity in which the cache is placed. To find the actual coordinates, one must solve the puzzle. This cache is my first mystery cache (and my first cache in quite a while), so I hope you all enjoy it!
Some quick notes about the location: it is not off the beaten path. In fact, it's quite close to the road. As such, please do not go too far into the nearby woods.
Anyway, I should tell you about this rather odd dream I had seeing as it is the heart of this puzzle. I did not take part in the action, but was merely a spectator. What I witnessed was a showcase of some of the Browns' most glorious talents. A group of Browns' players, both past and present, gathered on a field at the Mill Stream Run Reservation to play a game of flag football. While the players did not wear full pads, they did wear jerseys so as to relive the glory days.
I began spectating when the two captains were chosen: Ozzie Newsome and Paul Warfield. Newsome and Warfield walked to a box of jerseys and looked for their numbers. Newsome, who had always worn the number 82, could not find his number -- he could only find one with an 81 printed on it. Warfield found himself in the same predicament as he could only find a number 41 jersey. Newsome had always wanted to wear a new number, so he traded jerseys with Warfield. Thankfully, the rest of the players were able to find their jerseys without a problem.
Once the captains' jerseys had been determined, they took turns choosing players. Ultimately, the teams ended up with the following players:
Newsome: Bernie Kosar (1st pick), Phil Dawson (2nd pick), and Jamal Lewis (3rd pick)
Warfield: Nate Orchard (1st pick), Gene Hickerson (2nd pick), and Andy Lee (3rd pick)
I don't remember the score, but I do remember Phil Dawson juking out Gene Hickerson for a 50 yard touchdown. What an odd sight.
Congratulations to Serenitynow on FTF!
