This cache pays tribute to ask277 who started caching in June 2014 and already has 1132 finds with a whopping 85 hides. When placing caches, ask277 is known for his creative and tricky camo and for combining his love of hiking, jazz music and tree climbing.
ask277 completed two remarkable achievements in his first year of caching by reaching 1000 finds and finding 100% of the caches in the Joondalup region. Less well known is the fact that he has placed caches in Uganda, which epitomises his desire to share and develop the pastime.
SOUTH WEST HIGHWAY TRAIL
The South West Highway(SWH ) trail celebrates those active cachers in the West who have contributed to Geocaching in Western Australia. The series travels along the South West Highway, which is a stretch of road that stretches from Armadale all the way to Picton close to Bunbury.
The highway does not actually enter Bunbury - it stops at the industrial suburb of Picton, following Robertson Drive (Bunbury's ring road) for 1 km south before turning southeast past Bunbury Airport towards Boyanup. It continues for another 255km to Walpole, to give it a total length of 414km
You are welcome to hide a cache along the SWH, but please keep the cache name format the same, eg SWH...******
Please don't hide a cache unless you or a sponsor can maintain it.
Congrats to bigTcup on being quick off the mark with their FTF!
