Please be advised that we are looking for public assistance in the hunt for, and tagging of, "orientalem arbor locustam marinam". It was reported that this species has migrated into the Piedmont areas of Georgia. The species is not harmful to humans and is very common in the coastal regions of South Carolina, Georgia and Northern Florida (Both Atlantic and Gulf Coast). A reported sighting of this species in your area is exciting as well as perplexing. Please inspect the listed sighting area and if you spot the species, tag and return it to the tree. It is unknown what damages could result to the tree if the species is removed permanently.
