The 92-km Celtic Shores Coastal Trail stretches from Port Hastings to Inverness on the west coast of beautiful Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. This exceptional trail system meanders along the coast providing first-class trail experiences for bikers, hikers, runners, quadders, skiers, snowmobilers and horse-back riders.
This was the site of the Port Hood Railway Station, the original building was moved into the town near the church and was used as a funeral home for many years. They replaced it with a new building, and torn the old station down. It was only 1 of 2 original station buildings that still existed, the other being in Inverness, which now remains as the last original station building. Please bring own writing tool
