Our theme of the summer: Exercise your mind. Read! This year’s “Exercise Your Mind—Read” theme lends itself to various programs related to wellness, such as fitness, healthy lifestyles, self-improvement, learning, and exploration. This meant to target all of these wellness topics. Scavenger hunts aren’t just for kids! Hitting the stacks and exploring parks are great ways to stay fit mentally and physically. In order to find the cache you will need to find some clues. When you near the posted coordinates you will have arrived in the Library Station parking lot. From here proceed to the posted coordinates where you will start your hunt and proceed inside the library. Use that information to help you proceed in order to get to the final cache. The Library Station is transportation themed library. We have trains, artifacts from Springfield Depot, model airplanes, and our very own Route 66 that you can travel. ***Permission was given and approved by the Adult Reading Program Committee that worked with the Springfield Greene County Park Board and the Springfield Greene County Library for the placement of these caches.
