Asahikawa flood control dam is a concrete gravity dam made upstream of Asahikawa River flowing through the Akita city. Completion is 1972.
It is 51.5 meters high, 380 meters width, and path exists in the upper.
Nearby is Asahikawa Dam Park, and Matsumurae and Metasequoia has been planted in the park.

堤高51.5メートル，幅380メートルで，上部は徒歩で渡れるようになっています。
