This is the 5th cache I have hidden, and it is my sneakiest so far. It is located in a wall crevice on Prior's Haven beach, Tynemouth. The cache is close to a path which runs alongside the Tynemouth Sailing Club building, towards the North Pier. There is parking located nearby in the Haven, and on Tynemouth Front Street, and there are many nearby pubs and restaurants to grab a coffee or meal. The small, sandy beach is great for beach combing and watching the boats and ferries come and go. A visit to Tynemouth Priory (English Heritage) is a great way to spend a couple of hours.
The cache itself is an unusual container, which is very well hidden. The cache contains just a log, so please bring your own pencil and a pair of tweezers. Please do not upload any photos of the cache, as this may spoil the experience for future cachers.
