My favorite type of machining work-design/prototype.
The cache is a magnetic bison tube in a sign. One of my best friends who's a mill-wright had a lab to fix our machines on Campus. I never saw what was inside the door of his shop after 25 years working there. I would just send work to be done to him. Every work order was just a scratched out tattered note-Nothing electronic. It always got done on time, always right on the money. There was like one of every machines when I finally had a chance to poke my nose in his shop after he recently retired. We had dubbed his lab Skunkworks named after some projects I worked on in industry. This one is for you Rollie. You always beat me to work with your dented metal lunch pail with a sand-which and left well after me. A true blue-collar guy-Old school. You could fix anything my friend. I have always had full respect for you.
