There are several entrances to Mouat Park, on the edge of Ganges on Salt Spring Island. The closest to the cache is across Rainbow Road from the south end of Atkins road, but any of the entrances will provide a pleasant walk in the woods to the cache. The easter section of the park is very busy with dog walkers and disc golfers. There’s less traffic here, partly because of the climb you’ll take to get here.
No bushwhacking required—the cache is less than a metre off the trail and easily reached without stepping off the path.
The container is a squat 60 ml plastic jar with a screw lid, 60 mm in diameter and 50 mm tall, wrapped in camo tape. There's a First to Find button for the FTF. Small swag items for following finders to trade. BYOP, as there’s not room for one in the container.
