Geocache Description:

Christmas Day is a public holiday in New Zealand. For some it is a day of religious observance, and time for families to get together, share presents and enjoy a Christmas feast. With Christmas Day occurring in summertime in New Zealand, many families head to the beach or parks to enjoy Christmas Day.

The virtual coordinates will take you to St Augustine's Church in Petone. The cache is not hidden there.

Christmas Day is a time of joy for most families. It is about sharing presents on Christmas morning and indulging in a Christmas lunch or dinner. For others the day represents the birth of Jesus Christ and people attend Christmas services to sing carols and celebrate their faith. For the non-religious Christmas Day is a chance to have a break from work and spend time with families. Down under Christmas celebrations occur in the heat of summer so spending time at beaches, walking in parks, playing games outdoors with family members or resting after the pre-Christmas shopping frenzy are all part of the day off.

To find the Christmas Day cache, you will need to answer these not too difficult Christmas themed questions:

A = How many horses pull the open sleigh in the song Jingle Bells?

B = How many gifts would you have, if you received all the gifts in the song "Twelve Days of Christmas" (last digit)

C = Patron saint of children minus number of reindeer referred to in poem "Twas the night before Christmas"?

D = What year was the Christmas shearwater formally described? (last digit)

E = What year was the poem "Twas the night before Christmas" first published? (3rd digit of year)

F = What year did the Pope of Rome declare the birth date of Jesus Christ to be on 25 Dec? (second number of year)

G = How many magi arrived bearing gifts for the baby Jesus?

H = The traditional silver coin in Christmas puddings + number of flax kits in the Christmas song?

I = The first name minus the last name of the character in Dicken's Christmas Carol who despises Christmas?

J = New Zealand Christmas tree minus number of dancing ladies?

The cache is at South 41 AB.CDE; East 174 FG.HIJ

The cache is a small pill container inside an outer container and hidden very close to the calculated coordinates. The hint should get you there.
