George Georgia were very happy when Cousin Trudy made her annual Christmas delivery of her award-winning, infamous rum/brandy fruit cake. Now, George and Georgia realize that most people do not enjoy fruit cakes, but Trudy's is different. It contains only home-ground flours, cage-free eggs, local honey, and local organic fruits that she candies herself. Her special ingredient is her hubby's home-made brandy. Occasionally, she must use rum, but making that is a bit harder. She doesn't use the usual ratio of ingredients. Hers has a high moisture content. In fact, if you squeeze a slice, you can just about fill your shot glass.
