Geocache Description:

To continue with the song title theme:- This very interesting song sung by the English rock band, Led Zeppelin, was written by Jimmy Page and Robert Plant. It was a work in progress through 1970 and then recorded in the Dec. It is 8.03 mins long!  It was released late in '71 and is placed 31st in the Rolling Stone Magazine list of the best 500 songs.

The song has 3 distinct sections each one progressing in tempo, the first public performance was at the Belfast Ulster hall March 1971 and met a mixed crowd reaction, it wasn't until 1973 that it reached absolute appreciation.  When I was placing other caches on this great little walkway, I did some fossicking around - - as you do, and found this "stairway". If you are 5'2 and stand at the bottom and look up, it looks like a stairway to heaven.  I just had to lay this cache. You are looking for a systema with a few small swaps. Just take that stairway and meander off to one side. Park at Ferrymead park and take the roadway to the golf club area, and the wetlands walkway. The GPS will lead you the rest of the way.I would like to know what used to be there and why the steps, so if anyone can enlighten me, it would be great.

This is now 2022 and the area has changed alot. The stairway can still be found - only just and is VERY overgrown.
