Dorntj Koorliny Walk trail is 18km long looping around the Avon river, this section offers fantastic views of the river.

This section of the Dorntj Koorliny Trail where this cache is hidden inspired me to build this cache, when you see it you will realize why. This trail is a fantastic walk and is slowly filling with caches. If you want more information about it drop into the Northam visitors centre for a free map.
The best way if you come by car (i know most of you Geocachers will) is to park on Katrine road and walk up the ramp which takes you onto the bypass bridge. Then walk on over the Avon River. This way you will have a safe walk to the cache and get to appreciate the views from here. (see parking way-point)
Now the cache itself is a long tube, it will not be too difficult to find but you may have trouble getting to the log book to sign it. Please don't be rough with it. You will not require any force to open it just time and patience. I'm not sure how hard it will be to get into it, (I'm testing it on you) so please allow yourself plenty of time to tackle it. I will start off the difficulty rating at 3.5 and adjust depending on your feedback. Please let me know how long it takes to open in your online log, this will help others to know how long it may take.
I will be checking to make sure there are no fake finds. As a cache owner i'am responsible to make sure you are all honest. So if you cant get into the cache, log a DNF and report how long you spent trying. This way i can gauge the difficulty rating. And perhaps build a harder one if its too easy .
