The old road from Haverfordwest to St Davids was once narrow and windy. As transport use of the road increased and vehicles got larger and faster, the road was straightened in many places. The old road can still be seen in lay-bys and cut offs.
Some of these have been incorporated into a new and expanding cycle / foot path route and small old bridges have been renovated for this purpose. The route is signed all along its path.
Well done to Bunnigirl3 and Watchman for the first to find.
