1785. aastal kirjutas Jüri kirikuõpetaja J. J. Höppener oma aruandes Tallinna Keiserlikule Kõrgeaususele Provintsiaalkonsistooriumile:
„Kihelkonnas on üksainuke talurahvakool ja nimelt Lagedi kroonumõisa all, milles ametis tubli koolmeister.“
Niisuguse sisuga dokumendi leidis ajalooarhiivist Lagedi kooli kauaaegne direktor Sven-Allan Sagris 1983. aastal. Täpsemad teated kooli asukoha ja tegevuse kohta puuduvad. Järgmised andmed siinse kooli tegevuse kohta pärinevad 19. sajandi teisest poolest. Enne esimese koolimaja valmimist õpetati Lagedi ümbruskonna lapsi lugema ja kirjutama Hindreku talus. 1871. a jaanuaris otsustas Lagedi valla volikogu ehitada koolimaja. Selle valmimisele pidid kaasa aitama kohalikud elanikud vastavalt oma pere võimalustele. Esimene koolimaja ehitati sinna, kus on praeguse kooli staadioni põhjapoolne ots. Sama aasta sügisel algas õppetöö äsja valminud koolimajas. Selles majas õpetati lapsi kuni 1939. aastani, mil ehitati järgmine koolimaja. Edasi võite Lagedi kooli ajalugu lugeda siit
Aardeni jõudmiseks mine nulli ja liigu mööda teed umbes 370 meetrit. Kohale jõudes vaata vasakule. Näed objekti, mida on kujutatud Lagedi kooli sümboolikal. Sealt leiad ka aarde.
Palun pöörata otsimisel erilist tähelepanu mugude osas, neile meeldib ootamatult välja ilmuda.
Aardes puudub kirjutusvahend.

In the year 1785, in his report to the Tallinn Imperial Highness the Provincial Consistory, J. J. Höppener, the church minister of Jüri wrote the following:
„In the parish, there is only one peasantry school – exactly under the Lagedi statemanor, where a mettlesome schoolmaster is on duty.“
And a document with exactly such content was found in the year 1983 from the historical archives of the school of Lagedi by its longterm headmaster Sven-Allan Sagris.
Further posts of the schools location and function cannot be found.
The following information about the local school dates back to the later half of the 19th century.
Before the completion of the first school building, the children of the neighborhood of Lagedi were taught to read and write at Hindreks farm. In January of 1871, the municipal council of Lagedi decided to build a school. For it to be finished, local residents had to pitch in in compliance with the opportunities of their households.
The first school building was built on the spot where currently the northern end of the school stadium lies. Schoolwork started in autumn of the same year in the newly built school building. Children were taught in that building until the year 1939, when the next school structure was built.

To get to the cache, go to GZ and walk roughly 370 metres along the road. When you get there, look left. There you will see an object that is projected on the Lagedi school insignia.
Please pay special attention to the muggles, they tend to suddenly appear.
Bring your own pencil.
