Baacode: MAINTANENCE RUN - 16th February 2018 - Done by Rae - CACHE OWNER MAINTANENCE
Went out after thinking I should do some maintanence on some of my caches, being the cache owner of all but 2 caches so far in Easingwold. Went out and whoa, cold wind, spitting rain and yep watch out for the mud on them Knott Lane Geocaches. So here is the run down on the caches. I will post this on to all that I did maintanence on. The other caches I will have to do another day will be listed aswell or if they arn't listed below, it's on a second future maintanence trip as I need a car to get to them!
Lewis' Loot - First of I have a confession! I can't seem to find my own cache, how aful is that!!! As I had to rush wildly around at this part of the cache maintanence as it was getting dark going down Knott Lane, I will have to go another time to check this out, it seems to be moved. Anyone finding this cache and if you find it please pm me where you found and placed the cache back as this 'dopey cache owner' was on her hands and knees trying to find it in the dark!
Imelda's Walk - Changed Log, it seems there's a fair bit of sway in here to trade with. Got rid of a few dead balloons and a rather manky looking toy someone seems to have chewed!! Eww!..
Jenny's Hedge Cache - Still there dispite the recent DNF... this cache should have the clue or near abouts 'Been Fenced' so please don't go roumaging through near the Silver Birch Tree! If your in the right place it should be less obvious for people to spot you caching!
The Chase Garth Park Cache - This is having to be archived as there were a lot of Youths hanging around this area and it seems to have gone missing an awful lot. So please if you have marked this as a DNF feel free to pm me and mark it as a Find I will PM the recent DNF'ers to let them know.
Easingwold TIC cache, Off to the Library and the Way of Mrs Hewitt are all still there and logs look ok.
Knott this Way #1 Oscar's Observation and Knott this Way #2 Inspirational Mel all ok.
Walking up Millfields, Jozeph's Seat, Easingwold Stone Circle, By the Big Oak Tree, Elizabeth's Enchantment as well as Shrove Delights and Raskelf Drive By are on for another time. As well as any my brains left out!!
The Boroughbridge cache I have is still there outside the Charity shop.
Knott this way #3 and Knott this way #4 - BEWARE ITS SO MUDDY IT'S UNREAL! Wear wellies!! Don't do what the cache owner did when a car was coming down Knott Lane and fall into the muddiest Puddle there ever was ... !! :D XD ...(btw, I'm still alive and unhurt lol!) DO NOT DO KNOTT THIS WAY GEOCACHES FROM #3 - END in the Dark THESE ARE NOT Night caches as there are no lighting nearby and on a country lane!
Benjamin's Bounty - Took TB of a rather headless and legless Bambi, that I will try and replace for the poor tb owner if I can pm them or on the log. Cache container ok. Log Ok.
Kelly's Kellbalk - 2 containers, one taken left larger of the two. New log sheet.
NEARLY FORGOT!... John says style not in use! ... is also for another time! :D
