Geocache Description:

V&A Waterfront Quick Multi

Kindly note that the given coordinates are arbitrary and used to provide sufficient separation to prevent excessive overlapping on cache maps

The cache is hidden in this iconic, world-famous, combination retail/eatall paradise & working harbour. All the steps are within a short distance of each other and the final location, so the cache could be completed in 10 minutes - just enough time for you to be able to sneak away from whatever else you may be (expected to be) doing!

Note: although the cache location is less busy than most other parts of Waterfront, there will always be muggles around, so please use suitable stealth tactics to appropriately time and conceal your caching activities so that the hide does not become compromised. Kindly ensure the cache is firmly closed and securely replaced in its hiding place - thanks!

Step 1: go to S 33 54.397 E 18 25.305 the location of a sculpted bust of a notable sailor born in 194A which was unveiled by his long-time friend and another world-famous sailor on 2B November 2009. Amongst his many accomplishments was a Cth place finish in the 1990-01 BOC Challenge.

Step 2: move along the quayside to S 33 54.413 E 1 8 25.275 where you will find a memorial to 2D crew members lost in the terrible sinking of a ship on 2E July 1999.

Step 3: now head for the middle of three old cannons where @ S 33 54.413 E 18 25.293 you will note that the number at the end of the barrel = 3F

Step 4: finally proceed down the steps to the fascinating excavated courtyard @ S 33 54.421 E 18 25.288 where there is a new information board about the Chavonnes Battery. From this, you will learn that these ruins were uncovered in 19G9. The largest of the 5 images on the board shows the Battery in 180H.

Final: the cache, a small, camo-taped, slide-opening plastic box, may be found at:

S 33 54.(F-B)(H-1)(3-A) E 18 25.(C-F)(E+5)(D-G)
