Geocache Description:

Od petih mlinov, delujočih okrog leta1903 se je ohranil le Knupležev mlin. Vendar je tudi ta v razpadajočem stanju, kot marsikatera stavba iz slovenske preteklosti.

RAZISKOVANJE STAVBE JE LAHKO ZELO NEVARNO. ZAKLAD JE ZUNAJ STAVBE!

Till 1900 the mills used only mill stones and the quantity of ground grain was small. When the mill worked all day that would be from 200 to 500 kg. In this part there were 5 working mills in 1910 but only one managed to stay whole others were demolished. Knuplež (Roškar) mill and sawmill was built in 1905. because of small water force the owner instaled a diesel engine and the mill worked till 1955. Then in 1963 it was refitted with electric engines. While working it could ground up to 2500 kg of grain. The accompanied sawmill had the work capacity of 8 cubic metres of timber logs per day.
