This pier is dear to my heart. When I was young, we would visit my grandmother in Port Rowan, and come down to fish off the end of the dock. We usually caught sunfish, which we threw back. Some days I'm sure we caught the same fish multiple times! I'm glad to see that the boathouses have changed very little since those days; they're popular with photographers and artists for their rustic character.
The cache is not on the "sailboat" frame. It is often windy in this location, so take care with the log...if it blows away, it's gone!
