Congratulations to Ballynoes for being FTF.
This gorgeous little track leading down to GZ has one muddy patch at the entrance to a field but it is worth taking the time to explore it to the end. It leads down to Kingsmyre Loch where you will come across a wonderfully picturesque wee body of water. When we got here, there was a fair sized flock of swans on the water and I’m sure they would have come closer if we’d had something to offer them, but our twa dugs were enough to keep them back a bit. There was also a flock of geese, Canadian geese we think, which sauntered over in our direction. I made the excuse of using the bench to rest my weary legs, but in reality I was enjoying the ambience and beauty of this peaceful wee spot while my daughter was taking some photo’s. I could have happily sat here for an hour or more. But, geocaching called me back to reality.
