This is a little known but very interesting footpath that runs from Coverack Bridges to Trelubbas Wartha. Can be done as a circular walk as there is a very wide verge to walk back to Coverack Bridges once out on the main road.
The route will take you alongside the river Cober where it is at its most spectacular so children and dogs need to be kept under control at all times.
Parking is best at the Coverack Bridges end in the entrance to the Industrial estate. The footpath is unmarked but located via a stile next to the double gates by the bridge.You will be walking down a public footpath between the river cober and the man made leat feeding the Hydro power station. Do not allow children to play in the leat or with the sluce gates as these are private property.

W****** ***** Ltd operates a 200 kW hydroelectric power station near Helston in Cornwall. Water is abstracted from the river Cober and runs in a mill leat for about 800 metres along the side of the Cober valley. It then enters the buried penstock pipe which takes it to the turbine in the semi-underground powerhouse. The valley has the remains of several mills along it and much of the old leat system is re-used.
