This is a short diversion, running for about 1.25 miles, from The Essex Way, over footpaths and a quiet B road. Five caches make up this mini series, which can be completed in around 45 minutes at moderate walking pace and assuming reasonable success at finding the caches! As off road vehicles have chewed up parts of The Essex Way, this diversion also cuts out one of the muddiest, boggiest stretches (around 3/4 mile) in the locality...and keeps you away from the trail bikes, quad bikes and even Land Rovers...It is walkable in virtually all conditions being loose chip footpath and road.
