This cache is placed in Red Mountain Park.
Please follow all rules and respect park hours when seeking this cache.



Red Mountain Park is the new home of lots of history for the city of Birmingham. Formally a mined for iron ore and limestone, Red Mountain is the reason Birmingham exists. Come take a walk through history and come explore all the new things this park has to offer.

About the cache:
This cache is placed at the site of the Ishkooda #14 Bath House. Nearby you will find other buildings and a tree house overlooking the Ishkooda #14 mine. I would normally rate this cache as a 2.5 terrain for the hike itself, but park staff have assured me that this location is ADA accessible. As such, I have rated this as a 1.5 terrain, because someone in a wheelchair may need assistance. Please contact the park if you need assistance getting around the park.



  1. This geocache has an approved Permit to be placed at this location on property managed by Red Mountain Park. Visitors are responsible for acquainting themselves with policies and rules pertaining to park areas.
