Zamek w Dzierzgoniu został zbudowany przez Krzyżaków w XIII wieku na miejscu dawnego pruskiego grodu. Od 1309 roku w zamku urzędował wielki szatny Zakonu Krzyżackiego. Budowla spłonęła w 1414 roku po zdobyciu przez wojska polskie, a w 1456 roku prawie całkowicie została rozebrana.
Choć po zamku śladów zostało niewiele, wzgórze nadal jest ciekawym punktem. Na samej górze znajduje się wieża ciśnień z lat 30. XX wieku, a wokół niej rozmieszczone są tereny rekreacyjne, z których rozpościera się świetny widok na Dzierzgoń i okolice. Przy jednym z punktów widokowych umieszczona została skrytka.
Uwaga, skrytka jest na terenie, gdzie niewiele dalej poziom nachylenia jest wysoki. Bądź ostrożnym, gdy spadnie śnieg. Dobrym pomysłem może być trzymanie się barierki.

Dzierzgoń Castle was built by the Teutonic Order in 1200s at the spot of an Old Prussian gord. The building was burned in 1414 after being conquered by the Polish army and it was almost completely dismantled by 1456.
Although there isn't a lot of remains of the castle, the hill is still an interesting point. At the very top there is an old water tower from the 1930s, and around it there are recreational grounds. From the hill you can see Dzierzgoń and its surroundings really well. At one of the viewpoints a cache was created.
Be careful - the cache is at the spot with steep hillside close. Be extremely careful when snow falls. It might be a good idea to hold the railing.
