Jill's Hill from Mesa Butte:
This is the twin hill of Jack's Hill to the south. Jill's Hill lies slightly higher than Jack's Hill, rising about 30 meters higher. The views from Jill's Hill are excellent and are similar to Jack's Hill.
Following the provided waypoints, the way to Jill's Hill is quite simple. Park alongside Highway 549 at the posted coordinates and proceed up the well road. Follow the well road for about 1.3 km and turn right onto a nice trail. This trail proceeds to the base of Jack's Hill. For Jill's Hill, continue along the nice open trail to the cutline at the provided waypoint. Turn here and proceed to the ridge. Once along the ridge, the hike to the top of Jill's Hill is simple. Enjoy the hike and views!
