The cabins at Cama, during the resort days 1934-1989, were furnished with a wood range, cooler, dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, gray enamel ware and light housekeeping articles. At the main desk a meat grinder, mixing bowl or popcorn popper could be rented for an additional charge. A former guest during the 1970’s described them “The dishes and cutlery were an assortment that might have come out of our grandmother’s kitchen.”
In the old resort days there was a trail through the woods to Cranberry Lake, but guests rarely walked that far preferring to stay near the beach.
