Another year has rolled around and it’s time for the annual Illawarra/South Coast Get-together. This event is now in its 10th year and has grown in popularity to be a major event on the ICC calendar. For the first time we'll be awarding the ICC COTY for caches hidden in 2015.
Our annual picnic is a great way to meet fellow cachers who share the passion for geocaching, if you're a season geocacher or a new geocacher, come along and join us. Don't be shy, many good friendships have been forged as a result of these fun days. Nobody cares how many caches you have or haven't found. Its all about meeting one-another, sharing a caching tale or swapping a traveller. There'll be plenty of geocachers on hand to offer advice on different devices, software, hides, techniques or hints.
When: Sunday 7th Feb from approx 10.30am onwards.
The day is BYO everything so don't forget your GPS, lunch & a chair. The park offers good facilities (large undercover area, kids playground, BBQ facilities and toilets). The park is very close to the beach so pack your swimmers and a towel or alternatively there are over 400 caches within a 20km radius of the event, so come and spend the day in the Illawarra.
The group photo will be taken at 12.00pm so make sure you're there for that.
